  1. We are very sorry for your loss Patrissi Family.

Pete was my brother George’s roommate at Georgetown, and lifelong friend. We visited every year to participate in tournaments in the Capitol area.

Pete adopted our entire team as a leader, host and friend – inviting us into his residences offering his bed, rooms, couches, food and companionship.

We wish you blessings and solace in these difficult times; knowing with certainty that Heaven has gained a good soul.

    With prayers and love,
Paul A Cera and family, and the ’89-’93 Villanova Mens Water Polo Team

  2. Peter and I worked together at Mastercard. He was a wonderful part of the team, talented, generous, and dedicated. But more than that, he was a family man to the core. He adored his wife and sons and was so proud of them. I remember them visiting the office and we’d tease him about his oldest, who we called “Re-Pete”. Peter would chuckle and beam. I am so very sorry for your loss.

  5. We have such fond memories of Pete from our time as your neighbors in Candlewyck. We spent so many good times with you, and the children grew up together. Pete loved being with the kids and they worshipped him. He was such a kind and gentle man, always willing to help out. He battled the floods in our backyard and was a real support to us though good times and bad. He will be sadly missed by all and our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Love is not held in our hand its in our hearts
Love is not today it is everyday, forever
We do not see it we feel it, we remember it
With each passing day may you remember the love your father / husband had for you all
May his love ease your hearts. Make you smile
    Make you proud
Know that he is at peace, he is resting comfortably and his demons are gone. For no one knows the pain he was in, the struggles he fought
Continue to follow your fathers dreams he had for you and make them your own
May you one day be at peace, accepting purpose god has for you and our situations
I am always here for you all Whatever it may be.

  7. I have known Pete for the 20 years he has been at Mastercard. When he started, we worked on the same team here in NY. When I started a Men’s baseball team for the company, Pete was all in (he loved the game, as did I). We were at each other’s weddings. For the next 2 decades, we would keep in touch as our common love for NY sports (Yankees / Giants) would always have us in frequent contact. He was kind, hardworking, and a great friend and person. For sure he was a great husband and father. Only a couple of weeks ago we chatted about our boys, and how they loved their NY teams.

Paola, Peter, Tommy & Matthew: My heart broke at the news regarding Pete, and certainly I have no words to ease the pain of his passing. I will keep him and all of you in my prayers, and I hope god gives you strength in the days ahead. He will be with you always, wherever you may be.

    Pete……you are missed.

  9. I worked with Pete at Mastercard on a number of projects and he was one of my “go to” guys when I had questions or needed help finding information and I considered him a friend as well as a co-worker. Pete was absolutely a kind and generous person and my heart breaks for Pete’s family. In deepest sympathy, Carol Lucca

  12. Pete was like a brother to me — a great teammate and classmate, and an even better friend — we tried to be there for each other through the good times and the bad. Humble, kind, gentle, funny, generous. . .all words that describe him, but probably don’t go far enough. He was an extreme version of all those things (and so much more). . .and he never asked for much, enjoying the simple things — family, friends, laughter.

Paola, Peter, Tommy and Matt — he loved you more than you will ever know — so proud of his family that meant so much to him. Most of our conversations included him bragging on something one of his boys had done on the hardwood or the baseball field. . .some statistic or play. . .or simply some life event or family experience that we could share. Our family’s thoughts and prayers are with you.

You were taken too soon, brother — you will be missed.
