GRACE DeFEO, age 87, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Ocean City, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 27. 2018, at Neighborhood Hospice, West Chester, PA. She was the wife of Frank DeFeo who passed away in 2013, and with whom she shared 57 year of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Camillo Verratti and the late Anna Bianchi Verratti.

She was an Underwriter at the Aetna Insurance Co, Philadelphia, PA retiring after 34 years of service.

She was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

She was a member of St. Damien Catholic Church in Ocean City, NJ, and the Italian American Club in Ocean City, NJ.

Grace enjoyed reading, the beach, family get togethers, sports and watching game shows on TV.

She is survived by one sister, Rose Less of Glen Mills, PA, seven nieces and nephews and their families.

Grace was predeceased by two sisters, Connie Falco and Esther Koziel.

You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 9:00 to 10:00 on Thursday morning, December 6, 2018, at St. Cornelius Catholic Church, 160 Ridge Road, Chadds Ford, PA. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 . Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Route 82, Kennett Square, PA.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to St. Cornelius Church at the above address.

  1. I was saddened to hear of Grace’s passing, and have missed her so much. I will always carry such fond memories of she and Frank, their wonderful hospitality and zest for life. I know that she is joyful to be reunited with him. I pray for all her family, may you find comfort in your faith and your faith be strengthened by peace.
