July 10, 1939 - January 11, 2018 Kennett Square, PA | Age 78 Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Friend

WINNIE “Louise” ELDRETH, age 78, of Kennett Square, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at her residence. She was the wife of James Roger Eldreth, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.

Born in Shouns, TN, she was the daughter of the late William F. Mains and the late Stella Wagner Mains.

Louise was homemaker after retirement. Prior to that she had worked many years at Leone Pizzini & Son and the Brown Derby Restaurant.

She enjoyed embroidering, cooking, shopping, doing Word Search books, and being with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, James L. Eldreth and his wife Janice of Coatesville, PA, Jerry L. Eldreth and his wife Wendy of Oxford, PA and Roger J. Eldreth of Kennett Square PA;  two daughters, Alice L. Eldreth of Kennett Square, PA and Linda L. Woods and her husband Jerry of Nottingham, PA; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one daughter, Janet S. Hudson; two sisters, Sue Wynn and Edna Davis; six brothers, Ed Mains, Bill Mains, Jim Mains, Clayton Mains, Walter Mains and Ralph Mains.

God gave you your wings and now you can be with your oldest daughter and my mother and be with a great friend my grandmother in heaven and catch them up on everything that has happend through the years. There’s so many good memories of you and your cooking is the best I’m going to miss your laugh ur smile your love your voice and your kindness and especially your biscuits the were the best. We love you and miss u already rest in peace mom mom xoxo

  4. “Mom” Louise was such a dear and sweet loving woman. I will truly miss her! I can see her and my mom sitting at the dining room table enjoying the grandchildren and greatgrand children they both had in common. We are all so very sorry for your lost. She is no longer in pain.
