Guestbook

  1. Dear Pat and all the Badger family,
We’re certainly thinking of you, Pat, and we share in your grief. Jim was so nice to know and be with. We’ll miss him, too. We left for a trip to NW Georgia on Aug. 11 so we didn’t read your message until Aug. 27, thus a little late getting back with you.

Come back to the “banks” when you can. Know that you have so many loving friends here. And know, Pat, that our prayers and thoughts are with you.

    Love,
    Marilyn and Reid

  3. Pat, sorry to hear about Jim. Linda and I were talking about the two of you last week. We knew Jim was ailing when we met for dinner at the Black Pelican a few years ago. He will be missed. Jim taught me an important lesson. Never Miss A Meeting, that’s how I wound up chairman of the Anual Colington Rockfish Tournament, I missed a meeting.

  5. Dear Dorothy and Betty. It has been many years since we made contact. However, my folks used to visit you all in Landenberg when Jimmy and I were just kids. My mother and your mother were friends. I never knew the connection but I think it goes back to NC.
Fond memories. I regret there are not more. Treasure yours.

  6. Dear Pat, Dot and Betty: I have great memories of growing up on Chesterville Road in Landenberg. Being a part of the Badger, Carlin, Rigler, Ackerman, and Griffin “Village” was a wonderful experience. It was a great time and place. As a younger kid on the block, I was greatly influenced by Jim Badger and Jim Ackerman; sadly both are now deceased. Jim Badger was a wonderful person and friend.

  10. Sorry to learn of the death of another of my friends from the days of F&M and early HP. Jim was someone you always wanted to be around, a real cut up/joker. He seemed to always be smiling and never overly serious. The world has been a better place for the likes of Jim Badger and may his family take consolation in knowing how revered he is in the eyes of those fortunate enough to have crossed his path.

  11. Dear Pat and family, We were so sorry to hear of our friend Jim’s passing. We both worked with Jim at Hewlett-Packard where we had good times when working, attending dances, parties and picnics. Jim always had a sense of humor that he brought with him to all of those activities. He was also a fishing buddy. We know that Jim’s memories will be with us forever.
