  1. Penny,
We can’t imagine your loss. We haven’t connected in years, but we have lots of memories of CJ when we lived in Avondale and were neighbors. Our prayers are with you and your entire family. No one should ever have to bury a child. We will pray that something good is the result of this. Your good memories of your son will live on. Hang in there.

  2. Wow what an amazing turn out tonight. Its just proof to how much of an amazing person you are and how many people you touched while on this earth. I know it’s hard to say good bye it killed me to hug your mom tonight when her heart was so heavy with grief but I was glad I was there to hold her up and be there when your family needed it the most. I’m gonna keep your service card in my wallet so the next time I go fishin you will be there like you always were. You are and always will be my brother. We will ride again one day until then Rest easy my friend !

  4. With a very heavy heart and immense sorrow, I painfully admit that the sting of death has indeed been felt with losing you. You were doing so well! I have watched you grow from hopeless to hopeful, from being full of fear to full of faith. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is…some of us die so that others will live, and for that dear-heart, your living was not in vain. You will forever be in the heart of Concept 90…..we love you CJ now rest well homie. My deepest condolences to you family just know that we will fight this disease even harder…..because of you!!!

  7. So sorry, the best fishing partner I ever had. CJ once saved my life while fishing. We were fish Lake Demmon in NY right after ice out when my boat flipped and I was fully clothed. CJ was on the other side of the cove and rushed over and got me in his boat. If he wasn’t there I’m sure I would have drowned or died of hypothermia. Never will I have another friend like CJ, love you brother.

  18. CJ, I’ll never forget you. I never did forget you, even after so many years of not having contact. I remember when you came to work at Steak and Ale..we became instant friends. Then of course came the night of Jameson and stories of ponds and fishing poles. I will treasure that night forever. I’m happy to know you are finally at peace, but my thoughts are with your family as they try to find peace without you here. Til we meet again my dear.. ❤
